Metallic pigments are premium, and the installation is a hand-crafted process — flowing, torching and manipulating the resin to create depth, then sealing it under a UV-stable top coat. It takes more product, more coats and real artistry than a standard finish.
What affects your price
Square footage, the complexity of the effect and color, slab prep and repair, and whether a moisture barrier is needed. A simple single-tone metallic costs less than a dramatic multi-color 'lava' or 'marble' pour.
Is it worth it?
For a showroom, lobby or statement interior, a metallic floor is a one-of-a-kind centerpiece no two spaces share. If budget is tight and you mainly need durability, a flake system delivers most of the toughness for less.
