Moisture is the real enemy
On-grade slabs near the coast push water vapor upward. Trapped under a coating, that vapor blisters and lifts the floor. The answer is a moisture test on every slab and a vapor barrier when the reading is high — the single most important step in South Florida.
Heat and UV
High heat softens weak coatings (hello, hot-tire pickup) and UV ambers raw epoxy. We counter both with 100%-solids materials and a UV-stable polyaspartic top coat that stays hard and clear in the sun.
